"When [she] pulled my body from the water, the only part of me she kept was the tattoo." - The Huncher's Twin Sister recounting her death.
The Huncher's Twin Sister was her unnamed identical twin introduced in the Lost Constellation supplemental game.
Profile[]
Appearance[]
The only thing remaining of the Huncher's Twin Sister in the living world is a patch of skin, featuring the Twin Sister's tattoo, placed in the attic's "shrine". The Tattoo is of an angular eye, with two dots above the eye, and four underneath. It is pressed into a pendant with four glyphs on each side.
the Twin Sister's ghostly appearance is that of a hunched over rat corpse, taking on a completely blue complexion. She wears a knee-length dress with sleeves and boots. Her eyes are pitch black, and twigs and rocks surround her body. There is a portion of her left leg skin that appears to be missing, this is where her eye tattoo was located.
Personality[]
Not much is known about the Huncher's Twin Sister when alive, other than she wanted to survive alongside her younger twin sister.
The Twin Sister's Ghost appears to be in a state of panic, frightened and surprised to be lucid and conscious once more. She holds deep resentment and contempt towards her sister, to the point of no longer recognizing her, and blames the Huncher for her death. She seems to have knowledge of information after her death, knowing of her body burning in the furnace to keep her sister warm, as well as how long her sister has survived.
Background[]
Prior to the story of Lost Constellation, The Huncher's Twin sister, alongside her twin, had both decided to flee to the Forest when they were both young.
They had both found the cabin, at which the young Huncher had decided to "survive" at all costs. At some point the Twin Sister died, drowning while the Huncher watched and refused to help. After her death, her body was pulled from the freezing water.
It is strongly implied that the Huncher caused her twin's death in a fugue state, and may have used her body as fuel to light the oven's fire. All except for one part of her sister - a patch of skin that had a tattoo that differentiated the two, which was pressed into a pendant, and placed in a "shrine" hidden in the attic.
Lost Constellation[]
Adina Astra's quest to find the Frozen lake and her lover, lead her to the Huncher's Hollow, where she managed to sneak in after evading the Huncher, find the shrine and steal the Twin Sister's piece of skin. Using it on a snowman she created just left of the cabin, Adina calls out to the ghost of the Twin Sister, who appears to be frightened and in a state of panic.
When the Huncher arrives shortly after, she is distraught at being confronted by her Twin Sister's ghost, and tries in vain to convince her sister it wasn't entirely her fault, but the Forest and Forest God's. The Huncher claims to have had no choice, she claims to have let her sister drown and use her body as cinder to survive the longest night. The Twin Sister laments not having survived, and tells Adina the tale of how they both fled into the woods, and of her death and missing tattoo. Adina, shaken by the tale, profusely apologizes as the Huncher screams at her to leave.
The Huncher, in her grief, spares the fleeing Adina, This incident may have been what led to the Huncher vanishing, or even dying, and being replaced by the Kid.
