"Go Smelters!"
The smelter's fans are two characters who stand outside Miller's and talk to each other. They are interactable with every day.
Appearance[]
The bird has a yellow scarf / neck-brace, a red shirt with a lighter red shield on it, torn jeans with brown shoes, and a brown hat that matches their beak and shoes. They also have red eyes and a turquoise feather color.
The crocodile has a red jacket with a light grey-blue shirt, torn jeans and brown shoes as well. He has red eyes as well and a red and white hat. He also has a light grey beard.
The two both smoke, and their cigarettes are seen throughout their appearances, similar to Beatrice Santello (although Bea's are fake, as proven during her hangouts).
Background[]
Not much is known about the Smelter's fans, other than that they are huge Smelter's Fans, and that they spend their days at the Miller's Bar.
The bird is mentioned to have a truck driving job, while the crocodile mentions having a daughter.
Story[]
They are minor characters who have a very small role in the story. They're both seen in front of the Miller's every day, where Mae can hear them talking about their favorite sport's team, the Smelters, but never interacts with them.
On the second to last day, one of the Smelters Fans will get a new job and move out of town before the epilogue chapter, leaving the other to stand outside the Miller's store alone.
Trivia[]
- Unlike many characters in the game, the Smelter's Fans are one of the few characters to change outfits throughout the game, depending on how far down the game you are. This is also seen with the walking characters, throughout the game.
- The Smelter's Fans are referred to as Bargoer 1-2 in the game files.
- The Smelter's Fans are notably absent in the Night in the Woods demo.
