Possum Jump

Possum Jump is a park and trail within State Forest, just on the outer skirts of Possum Springs. Mae and Angus visit the forest on one of Mae's ghost hunts.

Description

Possum Jump is a hilly park and trail located in Possum Springs, it houses many activities, such as hillside trails visitors can follow, leading from its base, to the hill's cliffside edge, as well as various scouts locations. There are a number of Possum Springs residents who lives in cabins in the park. The entrance to Possum Jump consists of a parking area open for all visitors of the park. Right next to it is a board, with note on it warning all visitors to avoid interacting with the local wildlife.

Right next to the parking lot is a vast hilly area with a few lime kilns along the path up. After a hike up the hills there's an entire forest with a couple of graveyards, including one for the old miners.

There is a makeshift graveyard located at the top of the hill, that houses the deceased national guards that opposed the labor strike, as well as some of the miners, back during the Possum Massacre.

• Angus and his mother played frisbee here some years ago.
• Angus's old scout camp is somewhere located in this area.
• There are a couple of people who live in cabins in Possum Jump.
• Mae and Casey used to hang out together in Possum Jump.
