Most of Deep Hollow County is unknown but it does include Possum Springs. It is noted that Possum Springs used to be the county seat of Deep Hollow County.[1][2] Deep Hollow County was likely founded in 1789 according to its flag.

During the development of Night in the Woods a flag for Deep Hollow County was created that can only be seen 19 seconds into the PlayStation Announce Trailer for NITW uploaded on 4 June 2014. While the flag didn't make it into the final game, the flagpole it flies from did, being located behind a tree 2 houses to the left of the Borowski Household on Maple Street.
The flag has a light green background with a dark green silhouetted image consisting of two figures with axes positioned on both sides of a large tree that they are chopping down. The tree has "1789" in white text superimposed over its leafy top. Below the image is the white text "DEEP•HOLLOW•COUNTY". All elements of the flag are centered vertically.
