"Charity Bearity: Pink Nightmarity." - Bea Santello
Charity Bearity is a series of famous books all created to help teach children various topics. Mae has a particular distain for the main character in these books, Charity Bearity, due to the condescending nature of their story-telling.
Appearance[]
Charity Bearity a young pastel pink bear that is most prominently featured in the Charity Bearity book series. They have exaggerated, cartoony features, such as large round cheeks, huge googly eyes, and a wide smile.
In-game[]
Charity Bearity is first mentioned by Mae's Grandfather in the supplemental Lost Constellation, to stop Mae from messing with the story he tries to tell her, about Adina Astra's adventures to the frozen lake. It is a story about a bear and it learns how to share.
In the main story, Charity Bearity's banner is seen in the children section, on the second floor of the library, when Mae and Bea goes to the library to investigate old newspaper clippings of ghosts. The book series is described as 'hateable' by both Mae and Bea.
In the Weird Autumn update, checking the banner will result in the song Tick Tock being available to play on Mae’s bass in her bedroom. The song is a parody of the original, and was created by Mae, Gregg, and Casey Hartley for their band.
Known Books[]
Due to Charity Bearity being a popular book series, there are multiple books that feature many different topics to help children learn. Due to how long the series has ran, many books appear to be very similar to each other.
Known examples of these books include:
