The Cabin Wolf, or Coffin Wolf in the game-files, is an unnamed wolf introduced in the Lost Constellation supplemental game. He lived in the Forest in his own little cabin, and sold coffins to those passing through.

Profile

Personality

The Cabin Wolf only looks out for himself, making money off the ignorance of the unwary. The Cabin Wolf can be presumed to be charismatic to some extent if he had managed to make a business out of lying and trickery. He also had quite a curt and selfish attitude, and mused to whether he should charge Adina for even entering his house.

If Adina continues to enter his house after he no longer has anything new to say, Cabin Wolf will remark with an annoyed tone that she is letting the cold in every time she opens the door.

Appearance

The Cabin Wolf is a blue wolf wearing a black jacket with two buttons and a collar, a red cap, and is seen smoking a black pipe. his eyes and nose are black, his sclera is yellow, and he has dark bags under his eyes.

Lost Constellation

Cabin Wolf is a wolf who supposedly sells coffins for the recently deceased. It actuality, though, his coffin selling business is a scam - he would persuade travelers to buy a coffin, as supposedly if they died in the Forest, their ghosts would haunt the grounds unless they bought one and he'd agree to pick up their body.

As Adina found out, the forest was full of the ghosts of hapless victims, meaning that the Wolf never fulfilled his side of the bargain. Adina directly tells this to Cabin Wolf, although he will refuse to comment on it and trails off, telling Adina she must have been hallucinating. This angers Adina, and she tells him to "Go to hell", to which he responds; "Ha ha ha. Hell's warm at least."

Trivia

• The unnamed wolf in the cabin is called "Coffin Wolf" in the game files.
• There remains an unused early build of the Cabin Wolf's sprite. Notable differences include his eyes being less squinty, his red cap being much smaller, and a general lack of details on his jacket.
